About the MLB fantasy rankings
How are the MLB fantasy rankings for 2027 built?
Every hitter and pitcher is projected from three seasons of his own game logs weighted toward the newest, with projected games from availability (or, for a pitcher, his own appearances) and injuries priced by the games of the coming season they cost. Points boards rank by projected season total so a starting pitcher and an everyday bat sit on one scale; the categories board uses the 5x5 roto set.
Why 2027?
Once the regular season ends the board projects the season ahead, which is the one a draft is for. The in-season board returns on opening day and re-ranks every morning from the game logs.
How often are the rankings updated?
Every morning after the projection run. A transaction or an injury listing moves a player the day it lands.
Is there a printable version?
Yes, the cheat sheet prints the board with tiers, and the CSV download on the board carries every column.

How to read this page
- Points boards use DraftKings, FanDuel or Yahoo scoring and rank by projected season total, so positions compare on one scale; the NHL, NBA and MLB boards also rank by categories (hockey: goals, assists, power-play points, shots, hits, blocks, penalty minutes, and the goalie line; basketball: nine categories; baseball: the 5x5 roto set).
- Games played matters. A hot average over two games is not the same as the same average over twenty; weight the sample before you trade for the name.
- The printable cheat sheet packages the current board with tiers and bye weeks.
