Skubal will start Game 1 of the NLCS against the Brewers on Sunday, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.
Skubal was brilliant during his start in Game 1 of the NLDS against Atlanta, giving up just one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over six innings. He'll now aim to maintain his success as he takes the mound to open the series against the Brewers, to whom he gave up six runs (five earned) over 12 innings in the regular season.

Skubal will start Game 1 of the NLDS against Atlanta on Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The Dodgers have an embarrassment of riches in their rotation, and they'll opt for Skubal over Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 1. Presumably, Yamamoto will take the ball in Game 2, with Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow lurking. Skubal made 10 starts for the Dodgers after coming over from the Tigers at the trade deadline, logging a 2.61 ERA and 70:13 K:BB across 62 innings.

Skubal (12-7) pitched seven shutout innings Friday, allowing just three hits and striking out 10 without walking a batter to earn the win over the Giants.
Skubal struggled against the Giants last week, but he bounced right back in his last start of the regular season. He likely could have kept going -- he exited at 75 pitches (60 strikes), but the Dodgers have no need to take unnecessary risks on the eve of the postseason. Skubal ends the regular season with a 2.72 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 186:27 K:BB over 158.2 innings across 26 starts between the Dodgers and the Tigers. He'll likely make a start during the NLDS on more than one week of rest.

The Dodgers reinstated Skubal from the bereavement list Wednesday, Noah Camras of SI.com reports.
After spending the past three days away from the team tending to personal matters, Skubal will rejoin the Dodgers a couple of days in advance of his final regular-season start Friday in San Francisco. Kyle Hurt was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

The Dodgers placed Skubal on the bereavement list Sunday.
The left-hander will step away from the team for a few days in order to handle a personal matter. Skubal pitched Saturday against the Giants, surrendering four runs over five innings but getting the win, and he should be back for his next turn through the rotation.

Skubal (11-7) allowed four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings to earn the win over the Giants on Saturday.
Skubal wasn't at his sharpest this time out, but he still managed to earn a third straight win thanks to the Dodgers offense. This was the first time since June 24 that Skubal gave up more than three runs. Over that 14-start span (87 innings), he maintained a 2.28 ERA, even better than his 2.85 mark for the year. The ace southpaw has added a 0.99 WHIP and 176:27 K:BB through 151.2 innings over 25 starts this year. He's tentatively lined up for a road rematch in San Francisco next weekend to conclude his regular season.
