Lee (groin) exited Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Dodgers in the seventh inning, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Lee fouled a ball off his groin area earlier in the contest, and he was ultimately replaced by Drew Gilbert in the outfield prior to the beginning of the bottom of the seventh frame. Lee will likely undergo further evaluation, and he can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Lee is absent from the lineup for Monday's contest in St. Louis.
The left-handed-swinging Lee typically starts against most southpaws, but he will begin Monday's game on the bench as the Cardinals send lefty Quinn Mathews to the hill. Scott Bandura will play right field for the Giants.

Lee is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Cardinals, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Lee has struggled against lefties with a .647 OPS throughout the season, but he has faired better versus righties with .765 OPS. The left-handed bat is getting a breather Tuesday as the Cardinals send southpaw Quinn Mathews to the mound. Grant McCray starts in right field, batting eighth.
