Springer isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.
Springer will grab a seat on the bench after going 0-for-5 with a strikeout and a run scored in Friday's win. His absence will put Vladimir Guerrero at the DH spot, opening up first base for Sean Keys.

Springer is not in the starting lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Orioles.
Toronto was eliminated from postseason contention with a loss in the first game of the day, so naturally, veterans Springer and Vladimir Guerrero are sitting for the nightcap. Springer is closing out a disappointing age-36 season after a resurgent 2025, as he has a .730 OPS through 124 games this year.

Springer is not in Sunday's starting nine against Texas.
After going 0-for-8 over the first two games against the Rangers, Springer will sit out Sunday's series finale. Sean Keys will slot in as the designated hitter and bat fifth for Toronto.

Springer went 2-for-5 with a solo homer and a three-run double during the Blue Jays' 8-1 win over the Orioles on Sunday.
The Blue Jays jumped all over Trevor Rogers in the fifth inning with consecutive solo homers from Springer, Vladimir Guerrero and Kazuma Okamoto. With the bases loaded in the eighth, Springer gave Toronto insurance runs with a bases-clearing double, and it was his first game of four RBI or more since July 3, 2025, against the Yankees. The veteran slugger has logged two hits in each of his last three games and has a .740 OPS with 12 steals, 15 home runs and 52 RBI across 480 plate appearances this season.

Springer (shoulder) will start at designated hitter and bat second in Friday's contest against the Orioles.
Springer has been slowed this week by a nagging left shoulder issue, but he appeared off the bench in the Blue Jays' last game Wednesday and is back in the lineup for the series opener versus Baltimore.

Springer (shoulder) pinch hit for Nathan Lukes and flew out in the eighth inning of Wednesday's loss to the A's.
The 36-year-old outfielder has been held out of the starting nine the last two games due to a left shoulder issue, but Wednesday's usage is a good sign the Blue Jays don't think he'll need an IL stint. Springer has had a tough season overall due to various injuries, but over the 14 games prior to his shutdown he'd delivered a .333/.370/.569 slash line with six doubles, two homers, two steals, eight runs and eight RBI.
