Latest news

  • Miller ended Wednesday's 114-104 loss to the Nets with 10 points (2-15 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and one assist over 26 minutes.

Miller struggled mightily from the field, missing nine of his 10 three-point attempts while committing three turnovers and five fouls. He finished with a team-worst minus-16 rating as Charlotte leaned on Naz Reid and Grayson Allen for offensive production. Despite the disappointing showing, Miller's substantial shot volume should provide opportunities to bounce back.

  • Miller registered 17 points (7-18 FG, 3-11 3Pt), one rebound and four assists in 31 minutes during Monday's 124-91 loss to Detroit.

Miller led the Hornets in the scoring column, but he needed 18 attempts from the field to do so. He couldn't find the bottom of the net from beyond the arc and is hitting at a clip of 30.6 percent from deep over his last three showings. Charlotte will continue to rely heavily on Miller's scoring production until Kon Knueppel (hamstring) is cleared to return, though Coby White made his season debut Monday and should be able to take on some of the scoring burden once he ramps up to a full workload.

  • Miller ended with 24 points (8-20 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block over 33 minutes in Saturday's 109-104 loss to Philadelphia.

Miller didn't shoot the ball well in Friday's 95-79 loss to the Wizards, but things got better Saturday, with the 23-year-old connecting on 41.7 percent of his attempts from deep. He has had a quality 2026-27 campaign and is now averaging career bests in points (24.4), rebounds (6.1) and steals (1.4) across 34.0 minutes per contest in seven regular-season appearances. Miller is currently playing at an All-Star level, and that could continue even when Kon Knueppel (hamstring) and Coby White (calf) are back on the floor. Of course, this is assuming that Miller can stay healthy.

  • Miller notched 19 points (7-24 FG, 3-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block across 37 minutes in Friday's 95-79 loss to the Wizards.

Miller was the only Charlotte player who surpassed the 15-point plateau in this game, but he delivered another woeful shooting performance. The inconsistencies have been an issue with Miller -- he has either stayed below the 20-point mark (three times) or cleared the 30-point threshold (also three times) so far this season. Miller should remain one of the go-to options for the Hornets as long as he stays healthy.

  • Miller amassed 31 points (12-26 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 97-89 loss to Detroit.

After erupting for a season-high 39 points in Monday's win over the Wizards, Miller reached the 30-point threshold for a third consecutive contest Wednesday. The star swingman also grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds en route to his first double-double of the season. Additionally, he tallied multiple steals for the third time in the last four games.
