Alexander is out for Friday's preseason finale in Phoenix due to a left knee injury.
In his three preseason outings, Alexander averaged 2.3 points on 16.7 percent shooting in 8.9 minutes per game. He's not expected to have a significant role in the rotation for the Jazz this season.

Alexander took a shot to the side in Monday's Las Vegas Summer League win over the Bulls and was taken off the court on a stretcher. However, he has seemingly avoided a serious injury and can be considered highly questionable for Wednesday's game against the Spurs. Even if he doesn't return in Las Vegas, it appears likely he'll be ready for the start of training camp.
