Reid recorded 28 points (11-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one block across 36 minutes in Wednesday's 114-104 loss to the Nets.
After averaging 11.5 points per contest on 32.6 percent shooting in his previous four outings, Reid delivered a major bounce-back performance Wednesday, albeit in a losing effort. The big man posted a game- and season-high scoring total and paced the Hornets in rebounds, finishing a rebound away from his fourth double-double of the season. Kon Knueppel made his season debut Wednesday, though he exited to the locker room in the first quarter and did not return due to left leg soreness. If Knueppel needs to miss additional time, Reid could continue seeing increased usage.

Reid finished with 14 points (4-12 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block across 36 minutes in Saturday's 109-104 loss to the 76ers.
Reid had difficulty getting most of his shots to fall in Friday's 95-79 loss to the Wizards. Things didn't get any better Saturday for the 27-year-old, who failed to sink any of his attempts from behind the arc. Still, despite some rough patches in his first year with the Hornets, including getting benched during the second half of Wednesday's meeting with the Pistons, Reid is averaging a career-best 15.9 points and 8.6 rebounds per contest. However, it's unclear if Reid will be able to remain as productive once Coby White (calf) and Kon Knueppel (hamstring) are cleared to get back on the floor.

Reid recorded seven points (2-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one block across 13 minutes in Wednesday's 97-89 loss to the Pistons.
Head coach Charles Lee said postgame that Reid "didn't meet our standards in the first half," and he didn't step on the hardwood in the second half. Although he saw limited action, the big man still finished as the Hornets' third-leading rebounder. He scored 17-plus points in each of the first four games of the regular season, recording two double-doubles in that span.

Reid finished with 18 points (8-22 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 29 minutes during Monday's 110-103 victory over the Wizards.
Reid struggled offensively through three quarters before erupting for 16 points and seven rebounds in the final period to help Charlotte secure the victory. Despite the inefficient shooting performance, the big man delivered another strong showing on the glass and continues to play a prominent offensive role for the Hornets. His ability to contribute points, rebounds and three-pointers makes him a valuable fantasy option, and he did this despite being under the weather prior to the game.

Reid (illness) is active for Monday's game against the Wizards.
Reid was listed as probable heading into Monday's contest against Washington after battling an illness over the weekend. He'll continue operating as the starting power forward for the 2-1 Hornets.

Reid is listed as probable for Monday's game against Washington due to an illness, according to the NBA's official injury report.
Reid appears likely to suit up against the Wizards, though his availability will be confirmed closer to tipoff. Assuming he's cleared, the big man should continue handling his usual role in Charlotte's frontcourt.
