Jones accumulated 23 points (9-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal over 22 minutes in Wednesday's 125-104 preseason loss to Chicago.
Jones went scoreless across 17 combined minutes in his first two preseason appearances but made the most of extended playing time Wednesday. The Marquette product was the only player to eclipse the 20-point mark, providing a major scoring boost off the bench. Signed to a two-way deal, Jones is likely to spend much of the regular season with the G League's Wisconsin Herd.

Jones posted 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt), nine assists, three rebounds and one steal over 24 minutes during the Bucks' 110-91 Summer League win over the Hornets on Wednesday.
Jones was one of four Bucks starters to score exactly 11 points, each of whom connected on three three-pointers in Wednesday's win. The 2025 second-rounder also got his teammates involved and was one assist shy of recording a double-double. Jones inked a two-way deal with the Bucks in early July after being waived by the Pacers. He appeared in 37 regular-season games (seven starts) for Indiana last season and averaged 16.6 minutes per game. The Summer League, training camp and preseason will all serve as Jones' audition for a consistent role in the Bucks' rotation for the 2026-27 campaign.

Jones signed a two-way contract with the Bucks on Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Jones was a second-round pick of the Pacers in the 2025 NBA Draft and averaged 4.4 points, 3.2 assists and 1.6 rebounds over 16.6 minutes per game across 37 regular-season contests (seven starts) in 2025-26. He was traded to the Bulls in June before being waived, but he'll now get a fresh start with a Bucks team that is also in a reset after trading Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat in June.
