Latest news

  • Collins racked up four points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 19 minutes during Monday's 124-91 win over the Hornets.

Collins scored no more than four points for the fourth straight game, continuing his rough start to the season. Despite seemingly landing in a favorable position this season, Collins has been largely underwhelming. In seven games, he has barely been a top-200 player, averaging 8.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers. At this stage, parting ways with him in standard formats is certainly a viable option.

  • Collins posted four points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and two rebounds across 18 minutes during Wednesday's 97-89 victory over the Hornets.

Collins endured a rough shooting performance, missing all three attempts from beyond the arc while failing to contribute any assists or defensive statistics. The veteran forward also committed four personal fouls, which contributed to his limited playing time. His lack of production is concerning for fantasy managers, particularly if his minutes remain inconsistent.

  • Collins registered 16 points (7-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 11 rebounds and two blocks across 34 minutes in Sunday's 106-93 win over the 76ers.

Collins followed his 23-point performance against Miami with his first double-double of the season, taking advantage of Jalen Duren's absence (hamstring) to play an expanded frontcourt role. Collins should remain productive, although his rebounding opportunities and minutes could decrease once Duren returns. That said, Collins is entrenched as the starting power forward and has done a good job of filling the void left by Tobias Harris (calf), who departed in the offseason to join the Spurs.

  • Collins delivered 23 points (9-15 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 0-0 FT), seven rebounds and an assist across 29 minutes in Friday's 128-111 win over the Heat.

In a game where Cade Cunningham was limited to 16 points while Jalen Duren (thigh) and Ausar Thompson (undisclosed) left with injuries, Collins stepped up and led the Pistons in scoring. This was also a nice bounce-back effort for the veteran, as he had been limited to just six points in the season-opening win over the Celtics on Tuesday. Look for Collins to have a prominent offensive role for the Pistons as a shooter and floor stretcher.

  • Collins closed Tuesday's 121-113 victory over the Celtics with six points (3-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 25 minutes.

Collins started for his new team, as expected, but certainly fell short of the mark when it comes to having a sizeable impact. The two combined steals and blocks were nice, but more is going to be expected from him, particularly on the offensive end. Despite the struggles, he remains a clear hold in all formats.

  • Collins logged 12 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds and one steal over 22 minutes during Friday's 129-125 preseason win over the Raptors.

Collins co-led the Pistons in rebounds during Friday's preseason finale, and he ended off the first half nicely with eight points in the second quarter. Collins signed a three-year contract with the Pistons on July 1 to replace Tobias Harris, who is in San Antonio. Collins finished the 2025-26 regular season having averaged 13.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.9 steals over 27.1 minutes per game while connecting on 55.2 percent of his field-goal attempts.
