Latest news

  • Clark accumulated four points (1-6 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and two steals in 21 minutes during Monday's 112-100 victory over Milwaukee.

Clark struggled from the field but provided defensive energy in a reserve role. With Anthony Edwards (knee) and Terrence Shannon (hip) sidelined, Clark has an opportunity to maintain a spot in Minnesota's backcourt rotation. However, his limited offensive involvement makes him primarily a steals specialist in deeper fantasy formats.

  • Clark will come off the bench in Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Heat.

Clark started in the Timberwolves preseason finale with Anthony Edwards (rest) taking the night off, but Edwards is back and starting on Opening Night. As a reserve last season, Clark averaged 4.0 points in 12.8 minutes per game.

  • Clark finished with 18 points (6-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds, three steals and one block over 29 minutes in Friday's 133-116 preseason loss to Chicago.

Clark tied Drew Timme to finish second on the team in points behind Isaiah Evans, who ended the night with a game-high 21 points. Outside of the 25-year-old's contributions on the scoring end, he also shined defensively. Clark has appeared in 108 regular-season games for Minnesota since entering the league as the No. 53 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, averaging 4.1 points and 1.6 rebounds across 13.1 minutes per contest. He will likely have a stable role in Minnesota's rotation in 2026-27, but he will presumably not be a consistent producer.

  • Clark will start Friday's preseason finale against the Bulls.

Clark will draw his second preseason start with all of Minnesota's regulars resting. He'll be joined by Zyon Pullin, Terrence Shannon, Cody Williams and Joan Beringer.

  • Clark will start in Saturday's exhibition against the Heat.

Jaden McDaniels (rest) and Jonathan Kuminga (rest) are out, so Clark will be thrust into the starting unit for Saturday's exhibition. Clark earned one start last season and finished with eight points, three rebounds, two assists, two triples and one block over 30 minutes.

  • Clark faces a more difficult path to consistent minutes following Minnesota's addition of Jonathan Kuminga.

Clark currently provides depth at shooting guard and small forward, but Kuminga's expected starting role might push Ayo Dosunmu into a more prominent reserve role while occupying substantial minutes at the forward spots. Clark's defensive ability should keep him in consideration for situational minutes, though he's unlikely to enter the season with a significant fantasy role.
