Richardson produced 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals over 26 minutes during Thursday's 117-104 loss to Phoenix.
Richardson started for the sixth straight game, filling in for Jalen Suggs, who continues to miss time due to a knee injury. He has played at least 26 minutes in each of the past four games, averaging 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.1 combined steals and blocks. While his ceiling appears relatively limited, he is at least worth a look in standard formats for those needing defensive stats.

Richardson supplied nine points (3-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, five assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Monday's 103-94 loss to Washington.
Richardson continued to handle an expanded backcourt role with Jalen Suggs (knee) sidelined and Anthony Black (rest) unavailable. Although he struggled from beyond the arc, the young guard contributed five assists without committing a turnover. Richardson should remain a potential short-term streaming option for assists while Orlando is shorthanded, but his fantasy appeal could diminish once the team gets healthy.

Richardson contributed four points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt), a rebound and three assists across 26 minutes in Sunday's 108-97 loss to the Celtics.
Richardson struggled to establish an offensive rhythm, missing all four of his three-point attempts while contributing little outside of playmaking. His 26-minute workload provided opportunities, as he continues to start due to the absence of Jalen Suggs (knee), but his lack of production is concerning. Through four starts, Richardson is averaging just 6.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. His inconsistent shooting and modest statistical contributions make him difficult to trust outside deeper formats.

Richardson had six points (2-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt) and one rebound over 17 minutes during Sunday's 111-102 win over New York.
Richardson made his first career start with Paolo Banchero (ankle) sidelined, though he struggled to make much of an impact offensively. The second-year guard could remain in line for additional opportunities if Jalen Suggs' right knee injury forces him to miss time, but Anthony Black's strong season debut may limit Richardson's upside.

Richardson is in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Knicks, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports.
Richardson will make his first start of the season Sunday due to the absence of Paolo Banchero (ankle), and the second-year guard will share the backcourt alongside Jalen Suggs, with Desmond Bane and Franz Wagner at the three and four, respectively. Richardson is averaging 4.0 points and 3.0 assists in 14.0 minutes per game in two bench appearances this season.

The Magic exercised Richardson's team option Wednesday, per Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel.
This is an expected transaction after Orlando chose Richardson in the first round of last year's draft. Richardson is cleared to play through a back injury for Opening Night, but he's unlikely to play a significant role Wednesday.
