DAY-TO-DAY

Day-To-Day · expected back around Nov 4

Sharpe dominated the glass, collecting four offensive rebounds while shooting efficiently en route to his first double-double of the season. It was also the second time he scored in double digits this season. Sharpe's rebounding provides a useful foundation, although his ceiling will depend on whether Brooklyn consistently gives him enough touches and playing time -- he has played more than 25 minutes just twice all season long.

  • Sharpe registered 15 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 13 rebounds and four assists across 26 minutes in Sunday's 98-90 win over the Pacers.

Sharpe dominated the glass, collecting four offensive rebounds while shooting efficiently en route to his first double-double of the season. It was also the second time he scored in double digits this season. Sharpe's rebounding provides a useful foundation, although his ceiling will depend on whether Brooklyn consistently gives him enough touches and playing time. • Sharpe finished Tuesday's 125-124 overtime loss to the Celtics with four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), six rebounds, one block and one steal in 17 minutes.

Sharpe started at center but saw limited playing time, with Moritz Wagner logging 22 minutes off the bench. Although Sharpe provided three combined steals and blocks, his modest offensive involvement and reduced minutes were disappointing. The distribution of minutes between Brooklyn's centers will be worth monitoring.

  • Sharpe was ejected in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game against the Cavaliers after being assessed his second Flagrant 1 foul, Danny Cunningham of Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan Cleveland reports. He'll finish with seven points (3-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 23 minutes.

Sharpe picked up his second Flagrant 1 foul on a reckless closeout. The big man struggled with efficiency before being tossed but grabbed eight rebounds for a second straight game to begin the regular season.

  • Sharpe registered 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block across 17 minutes in Wednesday's 144-128 preseason loss to Miami.

Sharpe made the most of his limited playing time, contributing in five statistical categories while connecting on a three-pointer. However, the center picked up five personal fouls, which disrupted his minutes. He has now recorded multiple steals in consecutive exhibitions and continues to offer Brooklyn rebounding and defensive production in the frontcourt.
