Plowden (illness) isn't listed on the injury report for Friday's game against the Spurs.
Plowden was held out of Wednesday's loss to the Lakers due to an illness, though he'll be available to play Friday. Although he's averaged 12.2 minutes per game through six regular-season outings, the 28-year-old wing has totaled just seven minutes across his last two appearances. He isn't guaranteed to see meaningful burn against San Antonio.

Plowden registered three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 16 minutes during Sunday's 123-112 loss to the Grizzlies.
With the Kings' frontcourt banged up, Plowden has appeared in all of the team's first three games. However, he can likely be left on waiver wires in most fantasy leagues until his contributions become more pronounced.

Plowden logged 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two blocks, an assist and a steal in 11 minutes during Thursday's 114-110 preseason loss to the Lakers.
Plowden was red-hot off the bench in the loss, building on the excellent play late last season that earned him a two-year, $5.1M contract in July. Plowden could fill a variety of roles with the Kings this season, but he's likely headed to a wing support role that won't yield many minutes once the season starts.

Plowden was among Sacramento's first five players off the bench and received a sizable workload in the preseason opener. He'll look to solidify a spot in the Kings' wing rotation after averaging 10.8 points across 40 appearances during the 2025-26 regular season.

Plowden agreed to a two-year, $5.1 million contract with the Kings on Thursday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Plowden has managed to land a standard NBA deal after previously playing on two-way contracts while with Sacramento, Atlanta and Golden State over the last few seasons. He averaged 10.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.9 made threes in 26.4 minutes over 32 regular-season appearances a year ago with the Kings.
