Scheierman is not listed in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Milwaukee.
Scheierman started in Monday's 109-93 loss to the Rockets, finishing with a season-high 11 points. He will head back to the bench for the meeting with Milwaukee. However, with Jayson Tatum (rest) ruled out, Scheierman should remain involved.

Scheierman will start Monday's game against the Rockets, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.
Scheierman will earn his first start of the season after scoring a season-high 10 points in 20 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 108-97 win over Orlando. Hugo Gonzalez will slide back to the bench after starting the first leg of this back-to-back for Boston.

Scheierman had his 2027-28 rookie-scale team option picked up by Boston on Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
It's a fourth-year option for Scheierman, which keeps the forward under team control for at least one more season after 2026-27. Scheierman is a significant reserve on the wing alongside Sam Hauser and Hugo Gonzalez for the Celtics.

Scheierman produced three points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes during Tuesday's 125-124 overtime victory over the Nets.
Scheierman struggled to find his shot, connecting on just one of his five field-goal attempts. The third-year wing contributed modestly in other categories but remained a secondary offensive option despite receiving 21 minutes off the bench. His limited scoring opportunities make him a difficult option to roster outside deeper fantasy leagues.

Scheierman produced eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), three rebounds and one steal across 18 minutes during Tuesday's 121-113 loss to the Pistons.
Scheierman made the most of his limited offensive opportunities, converting both three-point attempts while adding a steal. He matched Sam Hauser's playing time as Boston distributed minutes among its reserve wings, but Scheierman's four shot attempts highlight the difficulty of producing consistent fantasy numbers in a supporting role. His perimeter shooting could help him earn additional opportunities as the season progresses.

Scheierman posted seven points (1-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, five assists and a steal across 19 minutes in Friday's 125-120 preseason overtime win over the 76ers.
Scheierman made just one of his 11 field-goal attempts while missing five of his six shots from beyond the arc, so this was a subpar scoring display. However, the guard contributed in other areas, finishing with five assists and four rebounds while helping Boston overcome a fourth-quarter deficit. His playmaking provided some value despite the inefficient scoring, although his two turnovers and poor perimeter shooting limited his overall impact. Scheierman will look to bounce back offensively as the Celtics prepare for the regular season, and the former Creighton standout is expected to see consistent minutes, although his bench role will limit his fantasy upside considerably.
