Okereke posted zero points, two rebounds and one block in eight minutes during Tuesday's 101-89 preseason loss to the Warriors.
Okereke is unlikely to open the season with the Lakers. The expectation is that the two-way player will be a featured member of the G League's South Bay Lakers.

Okereke agreed to a two-way deal with the Lakers on Wednesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Okereke averaged 9.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 triples per game during his senior season at Vanderbilt, and he'll bring some emergency depth to the forward spots in Los Angeles. However, as long as the main guys are healthy, Okereke is unlikely to be in the Lakers' rotation.
