L'Heureux (upper body) was put on long-term injured reserve Friday, per PuckPedia.
Logan O'Connor was activated off LTIR in a corresponding move. L'Heureux's placement is presumably retroactive to Oct. 10, which is when he was last in the lineup. He has an assist, seven PIM and 10 hits in three appearances in 2026-27.

L'Heureux (upper body) won't join the Avalanche on their upcoming two-game road trip, per Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now on Saturday.
L'Heureux hasn't been in the lineup since last Saturday because of the injury. Given that he won't be with the team for Monday's game in Philadelphia or Tuesday's tilt in New Jersey, his next opportunity to play might come Friday against Tampa Bay. L'Heureux has an assist in three appearances in 2026-27.

L'Heureux was a late scratch for Tuesday's game against the Stars, and he'll be unavailable for a third consecutive matchup Friday. Head coach Jared Bednar said Friday that L'Heureux remains day-to-day for now but "could turn to week-to-week," so it's not yet clear whether the 23-year-old will be available for Colorado's upcoming two-game road trip that includes games against the Flyers on Monday and against the Devils on Tuesday.

L'Heureux (lower body) is slated to make his season debut Wednesday against Winnipeg, Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now reports.
L'Heureux will finally get to make his Avalanche debut after suffering an injury late in training camp. Colorado acquired him from the Predators in June. Across 25 regular-season appearances with Nashville last year, he recorded four goals, an assist, 64 hits, 21 PIM and 15 blocked shots while averaging 13:23 of ice time per game.
