Husso stopped 24 of 31 shots in Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Sabres.
Husso wasn't sharp against the Sabres' best players over the first two periods. The Ducks tried to make up for it with a comeback effort in the third, but it came up short. This poor showing dropped Husso to 1-3-0 on the season, and he's now allowed 17 goals on 118 shots (.856 save percentage) across five games. Husso is seeing backup duties behind Lukas Dostal, though neither of the Ducks' goalies have had a lot of success recently. Expect Dostal to get the nod for Sunday's home game versus the Senators.

Husso will tend the twine at home versus the Sabres on Thursday, Ducks PA announcer Phil Hulett reports.
Husso has gone 1-2-0 with 10 goals allowed on 88 shots over four appearances this season. Lukas Dostal has struggled in his last couple of outings, so Husso will get a chance to play. The Sabres have scored just nine goals over their last four games.

Husso stopped 25 of 28 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to New Jersey. The Devils' final goal was scored into an empty net.
The Devils jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, and while Husso kept the Ducks in the contest, his offense never got going while playing its third game in four nights on an East Coast road swing. Husso has gone 1-2-0 in his first four outings of the season with a 3.09 GAA and .888 save percentage, numbers which won't put any pressure on Lukas Dostal at the top of the depth chart.

Husso will start Thursday's road game against New Jersey, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
Husso will defend the crease for the third time in the Ducks' last six games. Across his last two starts, he's gone 1-1-0 with a 3.50 GAA and .881 save percentage. The Devils are averaging 3.22 goals per game to begin the regular season, which is tied for 11th in the NHL.

Husso made 25 saves in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Rangers.
The Ducks looked sluggish to begin an east coast road trip as travel delays prevented them from arriving in New York until the wee hours Monday morning, and Husso's ratios paid the price. Through three outings (two starts) to begin the season as Lukas Dostal's backup, Husso sports a 1-1-0 record with a 3.09 GAA and .885 save percentage. Anaheim doesn't play back-to-back games again until early November, so the veteran netminder's workload is likely to be very limited over the next couple weeks.

Husso is expected to defend the road net against the Rangers on Monday, per Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
Husso was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, putting him on track to handle the first half of Anaheim's back-to-back. He has allowed two goals on 31 shots in two appearances while posting a 1-0-0 record to start the 2026-27 campaign. The Rangers (6-3-1) rank 23rd in the league with 2.80 goals per game this season.
