  • Noesen was sent down to AHL Utica on Tuesday, per the NHL Media Site.

    After producing points in three straight games since his call up, Noesen will head back to the AHL to create a spot for Connor Brown (lower body) to be activated ahead of his season debut. Across five NHL games this season, the 33-year-old Noesen posted three points, six shots on net and 14 hits. He'll likely return to the NHL level at some point this season when injuries hit the Devils' forward ranks again.

  • Noesen scored a goal Thursday in a 7-1 win over the Rangers.

    Noesen has a goal and an assist in two games since his call-up from Utica (AHL) as the Devils 13th forward. He played in 38 games for New Jersey in 2025-26, scoring three goals and four assists, and adding 33 PIM and a minus-12 rating. Noesen's deployment is temporary with Luke Evangelista (illness) and Connor Brown (lower body) out short term.

  • Noesen was recalled from AHL Utica on Monday.

    Noesen will replace Connor Brown (lower body) as the 13th forward for New Jersey. As such, fantasy managers probably shouldn't be expecting Noesen to suit up versus the Senators on Monday. If Noesen does play at some point, it will likely come at the expense of Amadeus Lombardi or Jesper Boqvist.

  • Noesen was placed on waivers by the Devils on Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

    Noesen appeared in the Devils' first two regular-season games and was held scoreless with four hits and two shots on goal while averaging 7:24 of ice time. However, he was a healthy scratch against Utah on Tuesday and will presumably have more consistent opportunities for playing time at AHL Utica if he clears waivers.

  • Noesen (knee) was in action for the first day of training camp Thursday, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.

    Noesen has been sidelined since Jan. 8 versus the Penguins, missing the final 38 games of the 2025-26 campaign due to his knee injury. Even when healthy last year, the veteran center wasn't offering much offensively, generating a mere seven points in 38 regular-season tilts. Even with his injury concerns behind him, Noesen is far from a lock to play on a nightly basis and could find himself serving as a healthy scratch periodically.

  • Noesen (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of the season, Kristy Flannery of The Hockey News reports Sunday.

    Noesen had surgery on his knee back in January. There was hope that he might make it back in time to contribute this year, but that possibility has been officially ruled out. The 33-year-old will wrap up his 2025-26 campaign with three goals, four assists, 33 penalty minutes, 33 hits and 15 blocked shots in 38 games.
