Cossa turned aside 30 shots in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to Montreal.
The Mammoth got out-shot 35-20 on the night, but Cossa nearly did enough to steal a road win for his squad. Adam Engstrom snuck a shot through traffic late in the third period to tie it up, however, before Cole Caufield ripped home the winner just 30 seconds into OT. Cossa still avoided taking a regulation loss for a fourth straight start, posting a 3-0-1 record since Oct. 19 despite a lackluster 3.45 GAA and .879 save percentage. The 23-year-old netminder is still showing some growing pains in his first full NHL campaign, but he appears to be settling in as Karel Vejmelka's backup.

Cossa will patrol the road paint in Thursday's clash against the Canadiens, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
For the second time this season, Cossa will appear in his second consecutive game. The 23-year-old netminder has brought the Mammoth success recently, as he's currently riding a three-game win streak. Overall, he has a 4-1-0 record, a 2.95 GAA and an .875 save percentage across six appearances. With Karel Vejmelka struggling to begin the 2026-27 campaign, the door is open for Cossa to turn Utah's crease into a true timeshare. He'll face a tough test Thursday, as the Canadiens are getting Nick Suzuki and Kirby Dach back in their lineup. Given Cossa's recent success, however, he's a decent spot start in deep fantasy leagues.

Cossa made 27 saves in a 3-2 victory over the Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
The big netminder is on a roll. Cossa has won three consecutive starts and twice in the last two weeks (2-0-0; five goals allowed). That's material because starter Karel Vejmelka is 0-2-0 with eight goals allowed in that same span. There's no netminding controversy yet, per se, but the Mammoth could alternate goalies short term if Vejmelka can't settle his game and Cossa continues to step up.

Cossa will patrol the road crease in Tuesday's clash against the Maple Leafs, per Mark Masters of TSN.
Cossa picked up his second consecutive win in Thursday's clash, as he anchored the Mammoth to an overtime victory against the Penguins. Overall, the 23-year-old backstop has a 3-1-0 record, a 3.20 GAA and an .855 save percentage across five appearances. While he's been inconsistent despite earning a win in the majority of his appearances thus far, Cossa remains a solid stash in deep dynasty leagues given his potential to earn a true timeshare in Utah's crease. He'll face off against the Maple Leafs on Tuesday, who rank 4th in the NHL with 3.75 goals per game this season.

Cossa turned aside 31 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Penguins.
Cossa nearly blew an early 2-0 lead, but Logan Cooley bailed him out by completing a hat trick with exactly one second left on the clock in the third period, batting a puck out of midair past Arturs Silovs. That set the stage for Mikhail Sergachev to flip home the OT winner. Cossa continues to benefit from plenty of offense when he's between the pipes. Despite his 3.20 GAA and .857 save percentage in five outings (four starts), the 23-year-old netminder sports a 3-1-0 record as Karel Vejmelka's backup.

Cossa will protect the road goal versus the Penguins on Thursday, Josh Getzoff of SportsNet Pittsburgh reports.
Cossa will get another look at the Penguins after earning the win by stopping 15 of 19 shots against them Oct. 19 in Utah. Cossa's start also allows Karel Vejmelka to get some rest after he started the last three games. Cossa has a 3.33 GAA and an .820 save percentage over four outings this season, which makes him a risky fantasy option.
