Thomas has two goals and three assists over his last four outings. The top-line center has had a bit of spotty offense over the first month-plus of the season, but his overall usage hasn't been affected. He's at three goals, eight assists, 22 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 16 appearances. Thomas is a fine second option at center in fantasy, especially for managers chasing helpers.

Thomas assisted on both St. Louis power-play goals and scored his second goal of the season during the middle frame. The center now has nine points (two goals, seven assists) through 13 appearances. Thomas is set to become the 25th captain in Blues history, the team announced Wednesday.
Thomas is taking over for Brayden Schenn, who was traded to the Islanders in March. The 27-year-old Thomas is entering the fourth campaign of his eight-year, $65 million contract, so he's set to wear the 'C' for years to come. He had 25 goals and 64 points in 64 regular-season outings in 2025-26, which made it his fifth straight regular season with over 60 points.
