  • Warren notched an assist, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-1 win over the Jets.

Warren has earned two helpers over his first four NHL games. He has also supplied three shots on net, six hits, five blocked and a plus-2 rating. His strong work so far was rewarded with a promotion to the top pairing Friday, which saw him log 24:12 of ice time while skating with Jackson LaCombe. Warren is more of a deep-league target at this point in fantasy, but he could pop if he sticks in the top four.

  • Warren was called up from AHL San Diego on Wednesday.

Warren had two goals, 12 points and 26 PIM in 61 AHL regular-season appearances with San Diego in 2025-26. Anaheim summoned Warren, along with defensemen Travis Mitchell and Tristan Luneau, because Drew Helleson (lower body) and Ian Moore (lower body) are on injured reserve. It wouldn't be surprising if Warren was a healthy scratch as the Ducks' seventh defenseman for Friday's game in Vegas.

  • Warren agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Ducks on Wednesday.

Warren was taken by Anaheim with the No. 42 overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. The 19-year-old defenseman had three goals and 20 points in 47 games with QMJHL Gatineau last season. Warren has NHL potential and is an imposing presence at 6-foot-5 and 216 pounds.

  • Warren was selected 42nd overall by the Ducks in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft on Friday.

Warren's draft stock steadily improved as the season progressed. The fact Warren went in Round 2 shouldn't come as much of a surprise since NHL clubs are always on the hunt for 6-foot-5 defenders who can skate, especially those who played their entire draft year at age 17. Warren makes solid reads in the defensive zone and uses his large frame smartly, even if he isn't overly physical at times. Warren's future potential is directly tied to how much his offensive game can improve. His scoring numbers in the QMJHL this season were underwhelming (5 goals, 24 points in 62 games), although he began to make more plays with the puck late in the season. Warren has middle-pairing upside if that trajectory continues.
