Suzuki scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Thursday's 5-4 overtime win over Utah.
Making his return from a six-game absence due to a hand injury, the star center got right to work and got Montreal on the board late in the first period. After setting up Kirby Dach for a power-play tally early in the third, Suzuki then initiated the sequence that resulted in Cole Caufield's winner just 30 seconds into OT. Suzuki has a five-game point streak going dating back to Oct. 13, and on the season he's produced six goals and 15 points in just 10 contests.

Suzuki (hand) will play in Thursday's home clash against the Mammoth, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
After getting the green light from head coach Martin St. Louis and the Canadiens' medical staff, Suzuki will make his return to the lineup after missing each of the team's last six games. The 27-year-old center has a track record of displaying toughness, as he played all 82 regular-season games in each of the last five campaigns. Prior to going down this season, Suzuki was excellent with five goals, 12 points, a plus-6 rating, 26 shots on net, 14 hits and seven blocked shots across just nine games. Expect the Habs' captain to return to his usual role on the team's top line and first power play, which positions him well for fantasy success moving forward.

The Canadiens announced Thursday that Suzuki is expected to miss 2-4 weeks due to an upper-body injury.
Suzuki had appeared in 546 consecutive regular-season games for Montreal, but his iron-man streak will come to an end early in the 2026-27 campaign due to his upper-body injury. He was off to a solid start to begin the year, recording five goals, seven assists, 14 hits, seven blocked shots and two PIM while averaging 21:47 of ice time across his first nine appearances of the regular season. Given his return timetable, the 27-year-old will likely be in the mix to return in early-to-mid November.
