Tkachuk pocketed four assists, two on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Jets.
It's the third time in the last seven games that the elder Tkachuk brother has dished three or more helpers. Over 13 contests to begin the season, the 28-year-old has piled up four goals and 20 points with 27 shots on net, 22 hits, 14 PIM and a plus-1 rating, with 11 of his points (one goal, 10 assists) coming on the power play.

Tkachuk scored a power-play goal on three shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over Chicago.
Tkachuk found the back of the net for the first time since Oct. 10 and snapped a six-game goal drought with his fourth tally of the season, redirecting Seth Jones' shot just five seconds into a first-period power play. Even with the lack of goals, Tkachuk remains a key player for the Panthers and has failed to crack the scoresheet in just two of his 12 games this season, tallying 16 points (four goals, 12 assists), 26 shots, 22 hits and two blocked shots.

Tkachuk is riding an eight-game, 14-point scoring streak and includes three goals and 11 apples. He had missed big chunks of the last two seasons due to injuries, but he seems healthy and energized this season, playing alongside his younger brother, Brady Tkachuk. The elder Tkachuk sits in a tie for fifth in league scoring (14 points) and in a tie for second in assists (11).

After Columbus scored the only goal in the first period, the Tkachuk brothers got to work in the second. Brady Tkachuk opened the second period with a natural hat trick, and Matthew had a hand in all of them. The elder Tkachuk is the first player in Panthers history with four assists in the same period. They became the third set of brothers in the past 40 years to post four or more points in the same game. It was Matthew's first multi-point performance of the season, but it extended his point streak to six games, a heater in which he's piled up three goals and 10 points.
