Kiersted registered an assist, five shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Kraken.
Kiersted could have a path to playing time after the Wild lost Daemon Hunt on waivers to the Predators. Through four games on the Wild's third pairing, Kiersted has one helper, eight shots on net, five blocked shots and a plus-5 rating. He'll battle with David Spacek for playing time in the absence of Brock Faber (skull).

Kiersted was recalled from AHL Iowa on Friday.
Filip Gustavsson (hip) was moved from regular IR to long-term injured reserve in a corresponding move. Olli Maatta missed Thursday's game against Tampa Bay due to a lower-body injury, so the promotion of Kiersted brings the Wild back up to seven healthy defensemen. The 28-year-old Kiersted has no points in two outings with Iowa in 2026-27.

Kiersted had four goals, 12 points and 38 PIM in 49 regular-season appearances with AHL Iowa in 2025-26. He also has two goals and eight points in 45 career NHL regular-season games. The 28-year-old is likely to spend the majority of the upcoming campaign in the minors, but he might be summoned for a stint or two during the season, should the Wild require an injury replacement on the blue line.
