Ferraro scored a goal Thursday in a 6-2 victory over the Canucks.
He also had one blocked shot and one hit. Ferraro is a banger-league guy -- he already has 34 blocks and 32 hits in 17 games, and he's well on his way to delivering his sixth consecutive season of triple digits in each of those categories. This was Ferraro's second goal and point this season. His first came opening night.

Ferraro scored a goal on three shots and blocked three shots in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Bruins.
Ferraro opened his Winnipeg tenure on the third pairing, logging 17:58 of ice time. The goal was a nice touch, but the 28-year-old defenseman is primarily valued for his shutdown skills, not his offense. He is coming off a career-best 23-point campaign in 82 regular-season games with the Sharks in 2025-26. Ferraro has also topped 120 hits in all seven of his NHL seasons, and he's logged at least 150 blocks in three of the last five campaigns. That production will give him some value in banger leagues.

Ferraro signed a three-year, $12 million contract with the Jets on Wednesday, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reports.
Ferraro will bolster the Jets' blue line in a big way as a shutdown defender. The 27-year-old put up career highs in goals (seven) and points (23) in 82 regular-season games with the Sharks in 2025-26. He's also logged at least 125 blocked shots in five straight years and at least 120 hits in each of his seven campaigns. Keep an eye on Ferraro in banger leagues, as he should be a candidate for top-four minutes in Winnipeg.

Ferraro scored a goal on three shots and went minus-3 in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks.
The first-period tally was Ferraro's first point over nine games in April. He's added 17 hits, 15 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating this month. For the season, the shutdown defenseman has earned a career-high seven goals and 22 points over 81 appearances. He's added 93 shots on net, 134 hits, 147 blocked shots, 35 PIM and a minus-2 rating while seeing top-four minutes. Ferraro is one of four blueliners on the Sharks' roster set for unrestricted free agency in the summer, but his ability to do the hard work would likely make him a top target to be re-signed.

Both points came in the first period, but Ferraro technically scored another goal in the frame -- it was just for Ottawa, as he tipped a Drake Batherson centering pass by a startled Laurent Brossoit for the home team's first tally. Ferraro has officially found the back of the net in back-to-back games, and on the season he's up to six goals and 18 points in 65 games. He's added 121 blocked shots, 108 hits, 76 shots on net, 31 PIM and a plus-2 rating.
