• Nordmark scored a goal and added two assists in OHL London's 4-1 win over Sudbury on Friday.

Nordmark has done well in his first taste of North American hockey, earning five points over six games for the Knights. The 18-year-old winger had been playing professionally in his native Sweden, but a move to the OHL looks to be working well for him. Nordmark is already under contract, so expect him to play this year in the OHL and either return there next year or head back to Europe on a loan.

• Nordmark signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Ducks on Wednesday.

Nordmark had an assist in eight regular-season appearances with Djurgardens IF of the SHL in 2025-26. He also had 14 goals and 38 points in 25 regular-season outings with Djurgardens' U20 club. Anaheim selected him with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. Nordmark will likely remain in Sweden for the 2026-27 campaign.

• Nordmark was the 28th overall pick by Anaheim in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Friday.

Nordmark is a flashy forward with buttery hands and a great shot -- his talent screams top six. And he has played all three forward positions. So, why did he drop to 28th? Nordmark has shriveled when games get tough, and he's picked up some bad habits along the way. His decision making can be suspect, and his body language can be flat-out ugly when he doesn't get his way. Nordmark is a high-upside swing for the Ducks, who will work to shape him into their kind of player.
