Weegar scored a goal on three shots, added three hits and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.
Weegar has two goals and no assists through seven games this season. The veteran defenseman continues to play a key role in the Mammoth's top four, but he's seen just traces of power-play time this year, which has a limiting effect on his offense. He's still a good source of non-scoring production with 13 shots on net, 25 hits, 24 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-2 rating.

Weegar scored a goal, picked up six PIM and blocked six shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Devils.
The goal was his first of the year. Weegar is looking for redemption this season after tallying just 28 points, including four goals, in 60 games in the 2025-26 regular season. He added 175 blocks and has already delivered in that category with 16 in four games this campaign. Mikhail Sergachev left Tuesday's game with an upper-body injury, and Weegar may be called on to pick up the slack if the absence is prolonged.

Weegar said Wednesday that he has high expectations for himself and the Mammoth during the 2026-27 campaign.
The Mammoth acquired Weegar from the Flames during the 2025-26 season. He seems hopeful going into his first full year in Utah. Across 79 regular-season appearances between the two teams last year, he generated four goals, 24 assists, 175 blocked shots, 167 hits and 88 PIM. His 28-point performance was his worst since he recorded 18 points over 45 regular-season appearances with the Panthers during the 2019-20 campaign, but he'll attempt to bounce back this year.

Weegar opened the scoring in the first period and added a helper on the first of Lawson Crouse's two tallies in the second. With three points, five shots on net, eight hits and four blocked shots over three playoff contests, Weegar is taking care of business in a top-four role. Weegar was credited with the Mammoth's first goal, which was ruled an own goal by the Golden Knights. The 32-year-old defenseman last scored March 26 versus the Capitals, picking up four assists over nine outings between tallies. Weegar is in the playoffs for the fourth time in his career and the first since 2021-22. In the three prior postseason runs, he collected five points over 20 contests.
