Ullmark (lower body) is expected to miss the next 1-2 weeks, Claire Hanna of TSN reports Thursday.
Ullmark was placed on injured reserve after suffering the injury during Wednesday's game against Florida, so we already knew that he'd miss at least a week, and it seems he's not expected to miss much more than that. The 33-year-old has a 7-1-0 record, 1.33 GAA and .945 save percentage in eight appearances this campaign. Jonas Johansson has been called up from the minors, and he's set to be Samuel Ersson's understudy for Thursday's home game against San Jose.

Ullmark was injured making a save against the Panthers on Wednesday and was forced to leave the game. With his IR designation, the 33-year-old netminder will be sidelined for at least the next three games, though it could certainly be longer. The Senators brought up Jonas Johansson from the minors Thursday and could split the crease between him and Samuel Ersson.

Ullmark had to leave Wednesday's game in the third period after going down in his crease. The 33-year-old likely wouldn't have started Thursday versus the Sharks anyway, but the question now is if he'll be able to serve as the backup. If not, expect the Senators to make a roster move to add Jonas Johansson from AHL Belleville.
