Bichsel notched an assist, two PIM and a plus-4 rating in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Islanders.
Bichsel helped to force a turnover and then set up Mikko Rantanen on the Stars' last goal. The 22-year-old Bichsel isn't a strong source of offense, but he is playing in a top-four role at even strength. He has a helper, six shots on net, 24 hits, 19 blocked shots, eight PIM and a plus-2 rating over 11 outings this season. If he continues to block shots at a significant rate, he'll have some appeal in banger leagues, though hits will be his top area of production.

Bichsel scored two goals in Monday's 6-1 win over the Canucks.
Bichsel gave the Stars a 2-1 lead in the second period with a slap shot and then closed out the scoring in the latter stages of the third frame. The 21-year-old defenseman has appeared in the Stars' three outings after the break following a 31-game absence between Dec. 2 and Feb. 4 due to a lower-body injury. Despite this outing, don't expect Bichsel to become a steady fantasy contributor overnight, especially considering he holds a bottom-pair role in the Stars' defensive scheme.

Bichsel will be activated from long-term injured reserve following a 31-game absence. Prior to exiting the lineup, the 21-year-old blueliner recorded just three points in 26 contests, so fantasy managers shouldn't be expecting a ton of offensive output from him. However, he should be capable of registering plenty of hits.

Head coach Glen Gulutzan said Wednesday that Bichsel (lower body) is "very, very close" to returning but won't play until after the Olympic break, Brien Rea of Victory+ reports.
Bichsel is nearing a return to the lineup after having surgery for a lower-body injury in early December. However, it appears the Stars will exercise caution and give him a few extra weeks to rest. It wouldn't be surprising to see him back on the ice when the Stars resume play in late February.
