Schwindt signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the Panthers on Friday.
Schwindt was undrafted but joined Florida's training camp and notched a goal in his first game. The 28-year-old will spend the year with OHL Mississauga and likely won't have any NHL impact for at least a few seasons.
