Slafkovsky notched two power-play assists in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Jets.
Slafkovsky hasn't scored in six games, but he has four assists in that span. The winger has also gone four contests without logging a hit. He's up to 11 points (four on the power play), 35 shots on net, 10 hits, 11 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-1 rating across 15 outings in a top-six role this season.

Slafkovsky scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Sharks.
Both points came in the second period as Montreal built a 3-1 lead. Slafkovsky has three multi-point performances in his last four games. In nine contests this season, he's produced two goals, seven points, 24 shots on net, eight hits, eight PIM, five blocked shots and a plus-1 rating.

Given his established chemistry with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, it's a bit of a surprise to see Slafkovsky on the second line, but he should benefit the first time there's a shuffle in the Canadiens' top six.
