Daccord has four wins this season, three of which have come against Calgary. He's allowed just five goals on 97 shots across four appearances versus the Flames, compared to 20 goals on 129 shots in four other games. Daccord will have to find a way to build momentum against other teams since Seattle and Calgary are done with their season series. Daccord stopped 11 of 13 shots in relief of Philipp Grubauer in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Flames.
Daccord played the second half of the game after Grubauer got the early hook. This wasn't exactly a confidence-building outing for Daccord, as he was scored on early in his appearance before settling down a bit. He remains 3-3-0 on the year with an unsightly 3.96 GAA and .880 save percentage over seven games (six starts). The Kraken host the Flames in a rematch Wednesday, but head coach Lane Lambert's unpredictability with his goalie usage makes it tough to tell if Daccord will get a chance to get his season on track after an ugly October.

Daccord took care of business in his first two starts of the year against the Flames, but he's wilted against tougher foes since then. He's allowed a total of 20 goals across his last four games, going 1-3-0 in that span. Philipp Grubauer looks to have taken over the starting role, though head coach Lane Lambert is notoriously unpredictable with his division of labor in the crease. Fantasy managers won't need to track Daccord until he can produce better numbers. It's likely Grubauer will get the nod for Wednesday's home game against the Maple Leafs.

Daccord made 29 saves in an 8-3 loss to Florida on Saturday.
He will go into the record books in a bad way for this game. He surrendered two hat tricks -- one to Carter Verhaeghe and the other to Sam Bennett. Verhaeghe gave the Panthers three straight games with a natural hat trick after Brady Tkachuk had the other two. This is the first time in NHL history that this feat has occurred. Daccord will be remembered like Ilya Sorokin is remembered as the guy who surrendered Alex Ovechkin's record goal. Or the way that Wade Flaherty is remembered as the goalie who surrendered Wayne Gretzky's last goal. Daccord, who is 3-2-0 with a 3.89 GAA and .882 save percentage, is being outplayed by Philipp Grubauer (2-1-1, 2.71 GAA, .910 save percentage). If this continues, Daccord could be on the soft side of the platoon instead of the strong one.
