Luchanko scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Lehigh Valley's 6-3 win over Springfield on Friday.
The goal was Luchanko's first in the AHL. He's added five assists, 12 shots on net and a plus-2 rating across five appearances. Luchanko had a strong camp, and with the Flyers off to an abysmal start this year, he could soon find himself getting a look in Philadelphia.

AHL Lehigh Valley head coach John Snowden said Friday that Luchanko's shot has looked "really good" early in rookie camp, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Luchanko has had brief stints in the NHL over the past two seasons, as he's made four regular-season appearances for the Flyers in each of the last two years. However, he's spent most of his time in the OHL, and he recorded seven goals, 36 assists and 34 PIM across 38 regular-season appearances at that level last year. The 2024 first-round pick remains an intriguing prospect for Philadelphia and should get a look once again during training camp this fall after making the Flyers' Opening Night roster last year.

Luchanko was summoned by the Flyers from OHL Brantford on Wednesday.
Luchanko started the 2025-26 campaign with the Flyers, recording no points, two PIM, one shot, two hits and three blocks in four appearances before being reassigned to the junior level Oct. 27. He went on to score seven goals and 43 points in 38 regular-season outings between OHL Guelph and Brantford in 2025-26. The 19-year-old isn't expected to play for the Flyers during their postseason run, but Luchanko will be around the team and get a taste of the NHL playoff atmosphere.

He posted 17 points (two goals, 15 assists) in 11 games with Guelph before the trade, but he's picked up just four goals and 11 helpers over 19 contests with Brantford. Luchanko still has time to find a groove for his production, though he'll likely be doing so in the AHL in 2026-27.
