Guentzel scored a goal in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Predators.
Guentzel is on a four-game, five-point scoring streak that includes four goals. He has 18 shots in that span, a marked increase from the 20 in his first nine games. Guentzel's linemate, Nikita Kucherov, has requested a trade. His value isn't fully tied to Kuch, but Guentzel does benefit from playing with the reigning Hart Trophy winner. Guentzel's fantasy value post-trade will drop, as there's no way to get back the kind of talent that's leaving in any deal.

Guentzel was awarded a goal and fired two shots on net in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.
The Mammoth put the puck in their own net for the opening tally, with Guentzel being given the credit. It's officially his third goal over the last two games. The star winger is up to seven tallies, five assists, 29 shots on net, eight hits, six blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 11 appearances.
