Injured Reserve · expected back around Nov 14
Demidov has been on injured reserve since Oct. 6, and he initially received a return timetable of 2-4 weeks. He's now at the end of that estimate, and while it's encouraging to see him skating on his own, he's still in a walking boot, per Eric Engels of Sportsnet. Demidov appears likely to miss at least a few more games, but another step in his recovery will occur once he's officially cleared to practice with his teammates.

Demidov has missed the last 13 games, and he's still in a walking boot, per Eric Engels of Sportsnet on Tuesday. Demidov is being brought along slowly and will continue to skate on his own for now. Demidov's placement on injured reserve is simply procedural after the Canadiens announced Tuesday that he'll be sidelined for 2-4 weeks due to a lower-body injury. The Canadiens announced Tuesday that Demidov will be out for 2-4 weeks due to a lower-body injury.
Demidov didn't participate in Monday's practice session due to what the team labeled a therapy day, and his injury will ultimately force him to miss multiple weeks.
