Hodgson has finished serving his two-game suspension for his boarding infraction against the Kings' Brandt Clarke following Sunday's loss to Anaheim.
Hodgson was unavailable for the Senators' back-to-back set over the weekend that included matchups against San Jose on Saturday and against the Ducks on Sunday. However, the 30-year-old should be available moving forward, beginning with Wednesday's game in Buffalo. Across five appearances to begin the regular season, Hodgson has been held scoreless with 24 PIM, 13 hits and a blocked shot while averaging 5:06 of ice time.

Hodgson was suspended two games Friday for his boarding infraction against the Kings' Brandt Clarke (upper body) on Thursday.
Hodgson's hit was deemed worthy of supplemental discipline, and he'll be out for the Senators' games in San Jose on Saturday and in Anaheim on Sunday. Xavier Bourgault and Philip Tomasino were called up Friday as reinforcements, and at least one of them will be in the lineup Saturday. Hodgson has no points, one shot on goal, 13 hits and 24 PIM over five appearances this season.

Hodgson has been recalled from AHL Belleville by the Senators, the team announced Sunday.
With the Senators officially in a a playoff spot, Hodgson has been recalled to join the team for the last two regular-season games. The 30-year-old has 11 points (six goals, five assists) in 47 games on the season. It wouldn't be surprising to see him draw into the lineup Sunday despite the team having extra forwards up already to give some of the regulars a break down the stretch.

Hodgson was loaned to AHL Belleville by the Senators, the team announced Sunday.
Hodgson has appeared in nine games with the Senators this season, but he has averaged a mere 6:22 of ice time per night. That included just 1:53 of ice time during Saturday's game against the Blues. The 29-year-old will return to AHL Belleville, where he has four points (three goals, one assist) in 11 games.
