  • Wilson was placed on waivers by the Flyers on Thursday.

Wilson signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Flyers in late September, and he appeared in just two of Philadelphia's first nine games of the regular season. He'll presumably head to AHL Lehigh Valley if he goes unclaimed on waivers, and he should see more consistent opportunities to contribute in the minors.

  • Wilson signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Flyers on Sunday.

Wilson spent most of the 2025-26 campaign with AHL Lehigh Valley, and he recorded four goals, 12 assists and 101 PIM across 54 regular-season appearances. He'll likely spend most, or all, of the 2026-27 campaign in the minors.

  • Wilson was called up from AHL Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

Wilson has four goals, 12 assists and 101 PIM in 54 AHL games this season, good enough that the Flyers signed him March 5 to a one-year, two-way contract for the rest of this season. The Flyers may need some toughness facing the Blue Jackets at home Saturday, and if so, the 34-year-old Wilson will return to the NHL for the first time since the 2018-19 campaign when he tallied two goals, six assists and 54 PIM in 50 games with Pittsburgh.

  • Wilson signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Flyers for the rest of the 2025-26 campaign Thursday.

Wilson has four goals, 16 points and 99 PIM in 51 appearances with AHL Lehigh Valley in 2025-26. Following the signing, Philadelphia has put him on waivers with the intention of keeping him in Lehigh Valley if he clears. The 34-year-old forward hasn't played in the NHL since 2018-19, when he had two goals, eight points and 18 PIM in 50 regular-season outings with Pittsburgh.

  • Wilson will miss part of Toronto's training camp due to a hamstring injury, Lance Hornby of The Toronto Sun reports.

Wilson was already a longshot to be included in the lineup for the Maple Leafs' regular-season opener against the Senators on Oct. 2, and this injury certainly won't help his chances. Another update on the 28-year-old winger's status should emerge once he's cleared to join his teammates on the ice at camp, which will get underway Sept. 13.
