But was assigned to AHL Tucson on Saturday.
But has had an up-and-down start to his second NHL season. Across 13 appearances, the 21-year-old winger has posted two goals, four points, a plus-3 rating, 13 shots on net, 21 hits and nine blocked shots. While his offensive numbers have been limited by his role on the fourth line, he's done well without the puck and is still on pace to set a new career high in points if he is brought back up at some point in the 2026-27 campaign. For now, he'll head to the AHL with Michael Carcone's return looming from an upper-body injury, giving But the opportunity to gain some confidence with the Roadrunners in the meantime.

But scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.
But continues to play regularly in a fourth-line role for the Mammoth. He hadn't gotten on the scoresheet since he scored in the season opener. He has two goals, eight shots on net, 13 hits, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over seven outings. Given his current usage, he's not much of a factor in redraft formats at this time, but he's worth keeping an eye on if he gets into a top-six role.

But scored a goal and added three hits in Thursday's 6-0 win over the Blackhawks.
But tallied an insurance goal in the third period. The 21-year-old winger is one of the Mammoth's most NHL-ready prospects, but he'll have to earn his time on the fourth line early in the season. He had seven points over 29 regular-season outings for the Mammoth in 2025-26. But's worth keeping an eye on if he can work his way into the top six later in the year.

But was recalled from AHL Tucson on Friday.
But was sent to the minors in late March, but he'll rejoin the NHL club to provide additional depth just before the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Across 29 appearances with the Mammoth during the regular season, he recorded three goals, four assists, 18 blocked shots, 16 hits and eight PIM while averaging 12:28 of ice time.
