Geekie is on a sweet goal run -- he has one in each of his last three games on six shots overall. Is this the start of his breakout? We're not entirely sold, but big men always seem to take more time to spin up their games. Keep in mind that he's still on the fourth line, so he'll need a bigger role if he's going to have a chance at significant offensive production over a full campaign. Geekie may help in daily formats right now, but he's a hold in dynasty formats, at least for now. He has just four goals in 13 games this season.

Geekie has scored in consecutive contests, adding five shots on net in that span. The 22-year-old forward continues to fill a bottom-six role at even strength while featuring on the second power-play unit. He's up to three goals, 16 shots and 36 hits across 12 outings, and he looks like he'll be in the Lightning's lineup more often than not this year.

Geekie snapped an eight-game point drought with the tally. He's played in all 11 contests for the Lightning this season, though he has primarily functioned in a bottom-six role. Geekie has two goals, 14 shots on net, 31 hits, seven blocked shots and a minus-1 rating. His spot on the second power-play unit gives him a slightly higher floor, but he won't be a strong fantasy option until he's seeing steady top-six minutes.

Geekie fired a one-timer from the right circle that beat Charlie Lindgren stick side. He's earned the fourth-line center role in Tampa Bay, and there's every opportunity for the young pivot to deliver a new career mark if he can focus his game this campaign. Geekie's best came two seasons ago with 14 points, including eight goals, in 52 regular-season games. Last year, he took another step in the AHL with 28 goals, 51 assists, a plus-12 rating and 82 PIM. He represented Syracuse at the AHL All-Star Classic.

Geekie has been recalled from AHL Syracuse by the Lightning, the team announced Sunday.
Geekie was sent back down to the AHL before the Lightning's last regular-season game to continue to help Syracuse's stretch run and quest for a division title. However, ahead of the Lightning's first-round playoff series with the Canadiens, Geekie has been summoned from the minors once again, likely to serve as one of the extra forwards. The 21-year-old has one goal and two assists in 14 NHL contests this season.

Geekie was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Wednesday, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.
Geekie saw action in 14 games for the Lightning this year, registering one goal, two assists and 10 shots while averaging 9:54 of ice time. With Geekie headed down to the minors, the club brought up Jakob Pelletier and Mitchell Chaffee for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Rangers. Still, this likely won't be the last time Geekie shifts between levels.
