Latest news

  • Stevenson stopped 13 of 15 shots in Sunday's 7-0 loss to the Hurricanes after replacing Stuart Skinner midway through the second period.

Stevenson entered with Winnipeg trailing 5-0 and surrendered two third-period goals, including a power-play tally by Mark Jankowski. Stevenson carries considerable fantasy risk any time he starts, given the Jets' defensive struggles this season. The 27-year-old netminder has gone 1-3-0 with a 3.61 GAA and an .870 save percentage in his five appearances this season.

  • Stevenson stopped 19 shots in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Panthers.

Three of the pucks that got past Stevenson came on Florida power plays, including a pair by Carter Verhaeghe in the first period as the visitors grabbed an early 3-0 lead that they wouldn't relinquish. The 27-year-old netminder finds himself in a three-man committee in the crease for Winnipeg with Nico Daws having been part of the package for Connor Hellebuyck, but Stevenson hasn't made much of a case for more playing time, or even to keep his spot if the Jets decide to trim down. Over four starts this season, Stevenson's gone 1-3-0 with a 3.57 GAA and .870 save percentage.

  • Stevenson will patrol the home crease against Florida on Tuesday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Stevenson has lost his last two outings, allowing seven goals on 53 shots. He has a 1-2-0 record, a 3.09 GAA and an .893 save percentage in three appearances this season. Florida (6-4-2) ranks 22nd in the league in the 2026-27 campaign with 2.83 goals per game.

  • Stevenson stopped 34 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

The 27-year-old netminder played well against a very tough opponent in just his eighth career NHL appearance, and two of Carolina's goals came on power plays, including Nikolaj Ehlers' game-winner in the third period. Stevenson has a respectable 3.09 GAA and .893 save percentage in three starts to begin the season, but it's not clear how much longer he'll keep his roster spot with Connor Hellebuyck's team suspension set to expire Friday.

  • Stevenson is expected to start at home against Carolina on Saturday, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.

Stevenson is slated to make his third appearance after stopping 29 of 31 shots in a win against Pittsburgh in his season debut Oct. 5, followed by allowing four goals on 16 shots en route to a 5-1 loss to Anaheim on Oct. 9. The 27-year-old Stevenson is the Jets' No. 2 goaltender behind Stuart Skinner because Connor Hellebuyck (suspension) isn't an option. Carolina has a 6-1-1 record and is in a three-way tie for fourth in goals per game with 3.88, so this is about as difficult an assignment as Stevenson could get.

  • Stevenson stopped 12 of 16 shots in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Ducks. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Stevenson didn't face a lot of traffic, but the Ducks' fourth line scored the first two goals of the game. It didn't get better from there, leaving the 27-year-old with the Jets' first regulation loss of the year. He's allowed six goals on 47 shots while going 1-1-0 through his first two outings this season. Expect Stuart Skinner to be back between the pipes against the Wild on Tuesday.
