  • Goodrow notched an assist and two hits in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Senators.

    The helper was Goodrow's first point of the campaign. He's filled a fourth-line role so far, adding 12 shots on net, 27 hits and seven PIM. With primarily defensive usage, Goodrow doesn't make for a strong fantasy option even though it appears his spot in the lineup is fairly safe.

  • Goodrow (illness) is expected to suit up for Tuesday's home clash against the Bruins, per Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News.

    Sharks' winger Colin Graf confirmed that he would be skating alongside Goodrow on the fourth line for Tuesday's game, indicating that the latter appears to have shaken off the effects of the illness he was dealing with. Across five games to begin the season, the 33-year-old Goodrow has posted three shots on net, 16 hits and two blocked shots.

The 33-year-old forward is up to five tallies, 10 points, 51 shots on net, 90 hits, 45 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a minus-13 rating over 57 contests. He plays in a bottom-six role and on the penalty kill, so there's not a lot of fantasy upside to be had in his game.

  • Goodrow scored an empty-net goal on two shots, blocked four shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.

    Goodrow scored for the first time since his two-goal, three-point burst Dec. 16 versus the Flames. He had two assists over the 13 contests between goals. The 32-year-old defensive forward is at nine points, 42 shots on net, 28 PIM, 71 hits and 35 blocked shots over 48 appearances this season, which is already a more productive campaign on offense than last year (eight points in 77 outings).
