Soderblom made 31 saves in a 4-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday.
Soderblom continues to wait on his first win this season. He's 0-3-1 with 18 goals allowed in four starts, and his 4.49 GAA and .846 save percentage are tough to swallow. Soderblom remains behind Spencer Knight, but both men suffer from a lack of support up front. He needs to remain stapled to your bench.

Soderblom will protect the road goal versus the Lightning on Thursday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Soderblom is still looking for his first win of the season. He's allowed 14 goals on 82 shots over three appearances so far, and he'll be working the second half of a back-to-back against a tough opponent Thursday.

Soderblom made 27 saves in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Bruins.
Chicago held a 4-2 lead with seven minutes in the third period, but Soderblom's defense buckled under late pressure as Boston fired 17 shots on net in the final frame alone, and both pucks that beat him came on high-danger chances from in close. Elias Lindholm then scored the Bruins' OT winner on a strong individual effort, as he fought off Oliver Moore on his way to the net before deking Soderblom out of his skates. The 27-year-old netminder remains winless on the season, going 0-2-1 in three starts while giving up 14 goals on 82 shots (.829 save percentage).

Soderblom will defend the road net in Saturday's clash against the Bruins, per Jack Studley of Boston Hockey Now.
Soderblom will make his first appearance since Oct. 8 in Saturday's Halloween matchup. The 27-year-old backstop has struggled across his two appearances this season, as he's compiled an 0-2-0 record, a 4.58 GAA and an .820 save percentage. With Spencer Knight playing in each of Chicago's last eight games, Soderblom could begin to see more opportunities between the pipes if he can put together a solid showing Saturday. That will be a tough task, however, as the Bruins rank eighth in the NHL with 3.57 goals per game this season. Soderblom remains off the main fantasy radar for the time being.

Soderblom stopped 15 of 18 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Islanders. New York's fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Soderblom surrendered a power-play goal to Bo Horvat late in the first period before allowing two more goals in the second, leaving Chicago facing a three-goal deficit. The Swedish netminder has had a rocky start to the season, going 0-2-0 with a 4.58 GAA and .820 save percentage in his first two outings as the backup behind Spencer Knight. Despite the defeat, Soderblom reached 3,000 career saves with Chicago, becoming the 12th goalie in franchise history to do so.

Soderblom will protect the road goal versus the Islanders on Thursday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
Soderblom will make his second start of the season, despite Spencer Knight coming off a win Tuesday versus the Blues. Soderblom gave up six goals on 32 shots versus the Mammoth in his season debut last Thursday. Until the 27-year-old shows more reliable results between the pipes, he's a risky fantasy option.
