Laferriere dished out two assists, including one on the power play, placed two shots on net and had three hits in Monday's 6-3 win over the Rangers.
Laferriere has put on a playmaking clinic during the Kings' five-game road trip, as he's dished out five assists across the first four outings. One of his two apples in Monday's win came on Artemi Panarin's power-play goal, which helped Laferriere secure his first point of the season with a man advantage. Overall, the 24-year-old center is up to seven assists, nine points, 18 shots on net, 27 hits and nine blocked shots across 10 appearances. His strong category coverage numbers makes him a top waiver-wire pickup in leagues that value stats without the puck in addition to offensive contributions. Laferriere appears to have the No. 1 center role locked up for the foreseeable future, which should help him be relevant in standard fantasy formats as well.

Laferriere distributed two assists, posted a plus-2 rating, placed three shots on net, recorded two blocked shots, served two PIM and dished out four hits in Tuesday's 5-2 win over Washington.
Laferriere earned the secondary helper on both ofAdrian Kempe's goals. The 24-year-old Laferriere is up to six points, 14 shots on goal, 23 hits and eight blocked shots across seven appearances this season. He's currently above his point pace from each of the past three seasons, and if his offensive hot streak continues, he'll have a real shot at contending for the half-century mark for the first time in his four-year NHL career. Given his all-around upside and spot on the Kings' top line, Laferriere is a superb waiver-wire pickup in standard leagues, especially ones that value category coverage.

Laferriere scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Bruins.
Laferriere has done well in a top-six role so far this season, earning two goals and two assists over six contests. That comes with the caveat that the Kings have scored just 12 goals. Laferriere has added 11 shots on net, 18 hits, six blocked shots and a minus-2 rating. He has plenty of fantasy potential as a power forward, especially once the Kings' offense improves as a whole.
