In his 11th career NHL game, Kaskimaki found the back of the net for the first time, deflecting home a shot by Alexey Toropchenko to break a 4-4 tie in the third period. Kaskimaki has been operating in a bottom-six role since being called up from AHL Springfield a couple of weeks ago, contributing two points, seven shots on net, five hits and a plus-1 rating in six games.
