Halpin went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Game 3 of the ALCS against the Rays on Thursday.
Halpin primarily came off the bench during the ALDS against the White Sox, but he's started in center field in all three games so far versus Tampa Bay. The 24-year-old gave Cleveland a 3-2 lead with his two-run blast during the fifth inning Thursday, which held up as the final score. Across his four playoff starts, Halpin has gone 4-for-11 with two doubles, the two-run homer and four strikeouts.

Halpin started in center field and went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the White Sox.
Halpin was in the starting lineup for a second straight day with both Chase DeLauter (wrist) and Angel Martinez (side) unavailable and became an unlikely difference-maker in the win. The left-handed batter, who had gone deep just three times through 73 games, went into his home run trot after belting a three-run shot in the sixth inning to give Cleveland a 5-3 lead. Halpin's contributions enabled the Guardians to win the series and take over first place in the AL Central, a half game ahead of the White Sox.

Halpin started in center field and went 0-for-4 in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox.
Halpin was in the lineup as both Chase DeLauter (wrist) and Angel Martinez (side) were held back. When all hands are healthy, Halpin usually works as a pinch runner, pinch hitter or defensive replacement. He's been grinding the last month, going 9-for-49 (.188) over his last 25 games.

Halpin is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Halpin will hit the bench after starting the last four games while going 2-for-15 with a solo home run, two walks and an additional run. Despite the recent spike in playing time, Halpin still appears to be viewed as a part-time option in the outfield while all of Chase DeLauter, Steven Kwan and Jo Adell are available.

Halpin is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.
The Guardians will leave the Halpin on the bench for the fifth game in a row, with the left-handed-hitting outfielder sitting twice against right-handed starters during that stretch. Halpin looks like he'll have to settle for a part-time role versus righties after the Guardians added Jo Adell and Nathaniel Lowe at the trade deadline and called up one of their top position prospects in Angel Genao from Triple-A Columbus last week.
