Henderson didn't factor into the decision in Game 2 of the World Series versus the Rays on Saturday, allowing four runs (three earned) on three hits with four strikeouts and one walk across three innings.
It was a disastrous first inning for the right-hander, who surrendered four runs on an error and three hits, capped by a two-run homer from Liam Hicks, to the first five batters of the game. Henderson settled down and retired eight of the final nine batters he faced, but manager Pat Murphy still didn't hesitate to go to the bullpen after just three innings. After posting a 2.47 ERA in 18 regular-season starts, the playoffs have been a bit turbulent for Henderson, who has a 4.50 ERA and a 10:6 K:BB while covering just 12 frames in three starts.

Henderson didn't factor in the decision in Game 2 of the NLCS against the Dodgers on Monday, allowing four runs (two earned) on three hits with two strikeouts and two walks over four innings.
It's the first time in Henderson's MLB career that he surrendered more than three runs in a start, and he only has himself to blame since both unearned runs were the result of his own throwing errors. It was also his first start of fewer than five frames since his season debut April 4 in Kansas City. Through his first two postseason starts, the right-hander has given up six runs (three runs) with a 6:5 K:BB across nine innings. Henderson now lines up to start a possible Game 6 in Milwaukee, which will only transpire if the Dodgers win two of the next three games in the series.

Henderson didn't factor in the decision after giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits over five innings during Game 2 of the NLDS against the Padres on Sunday. He struck out four and walked three.
The rookie right-hander struggled a bit with his command early Sunday, as he issued three free passes and threw a wild pitch across the first two frames. However, Henderson mostly settled in from there and retired the next eight batters, though San Diego scratched across an unearned run in the fifth on a single and two infield errors. The 24-year-old illustrated strong command all year with just 19 walks across 98.1 regular-season innings, but it took him a bit to find his footing during his first postseason appearance. It was still a strong performance from Henderson, whose next start doesn't line up to come until the NLCS, should Milwaukee progress past San Diego.

Henderson went 5-1 with 1.93 ERA across 42 innings in his final seven starts this year. Henderson didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against Pittsburgh, allowing three runs on six hits and a walk across five innings. He struck out eight.
While Henderson had his strikeout stuff working Wednesday, he was hurt by the long ball. After blanking Pittsburgh through three innings, Henderson gave up a solo shot to Oneil Cruz in the fourth before Brandon Lowe tied the game 3-3 with a two-run blast in the fifth. Coming into the day, the 24-year-old right-hander had not given up more than two runs in any of his previous five outings -- he posted a stellar 1.41 ERA with a 0.56 WHIP across 32 innings during that span. Overall, Henderson sports a 2.51 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 96:16 K:BB across 17 starts (93.1 innings) this season. He's tentatively in line to face the Phillies on the road his next time out.
