Week 7 DFS Main Slate: Stack Packers at Lions, Ride Christian McCaffrey and Find Leverage in Bengals at Ravens

The Week 7 DFS main slate runs 10 games on Sunday, Oct. 25, and one of them stands clearly above the rest. Packers at Lions opened with a total of 50.5 that has since climbed as high as 53.5 at several books, per ESPN's line tracking, the highest number on the board. Bengals at Ravens and 49ers at Falcons sit just behind it, and the rest of the slate falls off quickly into the low 40s and high 30s.

Four teams are on bye: Buffalo, Jacksonville, the Chargers and Washington. That removes Josh Allen, Jayden Daniels, Justin Herbert and Trevor Lawrence from the pool at once and concentrates quarterback ownership. Four games are off the main slate: Patriots at Bears on Thursday night, Steelers at Saints in Paris at 9:30 a.m. ET Sunday, Chiefs at Seahawks on Sunday night and Cowboys at Eagles on Monday night. Some sites build alternate slates that include the Paris game, so confirm your contest's game list before building. The plays below are built on role, game environment and price tier, so check them against your site's pricing.

The slate at a glance

Lines vary by book and have moved since opening. The ranges below reflect early-week numbers reported across major outlets, including ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS Sports and Covers.

Browns at Titans1 p.m.CLE1.5 to 236.5 to 38.5

The top three games are where most lineups will start. The question for tournaments is how much to concentrate there, and where the field will be underweight.

Primary stack: Packers at Lions

Detroit comes off its bye after a 45-21 rout of Arizona in Week 5, when Jahmyr Gibbs ran 25 times for 151 yards and two touchdowns and added five catches for 56 yards, earning NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Jared Goff threw for 279 yards in that game, per the Associated Press recap, with touchdowns to Jameson Williams and Sam LaPorta. Gibbs is the highest-ceiling running back on the slate, and his receiving role keeps him live even if the Lions fall behind.

Green Bay is 4-2 after a 23-13 Sunday night win over Dallas. Jordan Love threw for 276 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score, and he has posted back-to-back QB1 finishes. Matthew Golden caught a touchdown but also dropped two would-be scores, and Green Bay receivers dropped three potential touchdowns in total. That is a sign the volume and the looks are there.

The cleanest build is Goff with Amon-Ra St. Brown or Williams, Gibbs and a Packers bring-back, with Golden the most natural choice. A Love-led stack with Golden and a Lions bring-back is the contrarian version of the same game. Check LaPorta's status: one tracker listed him as questionable entering the week.

Secondary stack: 49ers at Falcons

Christian McCaffrey is the most bankable workload on the slate. Monday night against Washington he ran 16 times for 64 yards and two touchdowns and caught nine of 10 targets for 53 yards, extending his touchdown streak to five games. With Mike Evans managing Achilles tendinitis and Deebo Samuel not expected back until after the Week 8 bye, McCaffrey and George Kittle combined for 18 targets after Evans left, and no other 49er saw more than two.

That concentration is the stack. Brock Purdy with McCaffrey and Kittle is a narrow, high-floor build, and Bijan Robinson is the bring-back. Robinson's Week 6 dud came in a game Atlanta trailed 31-7, and he still played roughly three-quarters of the snaps. If Evans is ruled out, Kittle's role grows further; if Evans is active, he becomes a low-owned way to get different in the same game.

The leverage game: Bengals at Ravens

This is the game where the field's uncertainty creates an opening. Lamar Jackson has not practiced since spraining his ankle on Oct. 4, and his status will not be settled until late in the week. If Tyler Huntley starts a third straight game, ownership will drift away from the Ravens' passing game and toward Cincinnati.

Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins come off a bye after both receivers played through injuries in the Week 5 win in Miami. A Burrow stack with Chase and a Derrick Henry or Zay Flowers bring-back is a strong tournament build in a game with a total above 50. If Jackson is cleared, the Ravens' side becomes one of the strongest stacks on the slate, and it may still carry lower ownership than Packers-Lions because the news will break late.

Value plays and one-offs

Puka Nacua (Rams at Raiders). Davante Adams is out six to 10 weeks after hamstring surgery. He already showed the ceiling in Week 5, when he caught 17 of 24 targets for 138 yards and a touchdown against Buffalo, and with Davante Adams now out 6 to 10 weeks the target share only grows. He will be popular, but that target floor is hard to ignore in a game with a total near 48.

Jaylin Noel (Texans vs. Giants). Noel has scored in back-to-back games and caught all four targets for 107 yards in London. Houston is the biggest favorite on the slate, and C.J. Stroud faces a Giants defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, per DraftKings Network.

Woody Marks (Texans vs. Giants). If David Montgomery's groin keeps him out, DeMeco Ryans has said Marks will carry the load. A large home favorite with a lead back at a value price is a classic cash-game profile. Confirm Montgomery's status first.

Kyren Williams (Rams at Raiders). Williams handled a season-low 13 touches in Week 6 while Blake Corum took nine carries, but he still played roughly 72 percent of the snaps. A softer matchup and an offense down its second receiver point to more volume.

Texans defense. A home favorite of more than a touchdown against a Giants offense whose backfield is in flux (Cam Skattebo played six snaps without a touch in Week 6) is the slate's cleanest defense profile.

The Verdexed angle

Our read on ownership: the field will pile into Packers-Lions, McCaffrey and Nacua. All three are good plays, which is exactly why the edge sits elsewhere. The two cheapest ways to separate are a Bengals-Ravens game stack built before Jackson's status is final and a Love-led Packers stack rather than the more obvious Lions side.

Avoid the bottom of the board. Dolphins at Jets and Browns at Titans carry the slate's lowest totals, and Buccaneers at Panthers is clouded by Baker Mayfield's thumb, with Todd Bowles saying Tampa Bay should plan as if Jalon Daniels starts. In tournaments, those games are only worth one-offs at minimum prices. Verdexed's game-by-game view is at /nfl/predictions, and the full Week 7 slate is broken down at /blog/nfl-week-7-picks-2026.

What's next

Friday's injury reports decide most of this slate. In order of importance: Jackson's designation, Evans' availability, Montgomery's groin and LaPorta's status. Mayfield's thumb determines whether the Tampa Bay passing game is playable at all. Lock lineups for the 1 p.m. window with the Ravens and 49ers news in hand, and leave flexibility in late-game slots so you can pivot within Packers-Lions or Rams-Raiders if Sunday-morning inactives change the picture.
