Meckler went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple and two runs scored in Friday's 7-5 win over the Mariners.
Through six innings, Meckler had a triple, a double and a single, but he couldn't get the homer he needed for a cycle. He grounded out in the seventh and singled in the ninth. While he didn't claim a piece of history, Meckler still put up his fourth straight multi-hit effort. He's now batting .306 with a .775 OPS, three homers, 15 doubles, one triple, eight stolen bases, 27 RBI and 42 runs scored over 96 contests this season.

Meckler has gone 8-for-17 (.471) over five games since coming off the concussion injured list. The outfielder has returned to a steady role in the corner outfield for the Angels. The Angels reinstated Meckler (concussion) from the injured list Friday.
Meckler landed on the 7-day concussion IL last weekend after taking a pitch off his head, but he's now been cleared to rejoin the parent club following a minimum-length absence. The 26-year-old was in a bit of a slump at the plate before getting injured, going just 2-for-15 in his last five games, though he went 3-for-7 with a homer and a pair of walks during his rehab assignment at Single-A. Bryce Teodosio was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
