Clark will start in center field and bat leadoff in Friday's contest against the Pirates.
It's the first time in his young big-league career that Clark has batted higher than sixth. The rookie outfielder has not shown signs of slowing down late in the season, slashing .353/.458/.500 with one home run, four stolen bases and an 11:14 BB:K over 20 September games.

Clark is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.
After seeing his 10-game hitting streak come to an end during Sunday's 8-1 loss to the White Sox, Clark will be given a breather for the series opener versus the Nationals. Javier Baez will spell Clark in center field and will bat eighth.

Clark went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 10-1 win over the Blue Jays.
The rookie outfielder extended his hitting streak to six games with another dynamic performance, and he's now batting a solid .278 this year with an .805 OPS. Clark is really hitting his stride in September, as he's batting .366 across 12 contests this month with a 1.041 OPS. While he didn't steal a base Tuesday, Clark has also swiped four bags this month. The youngster offers a tantalizing mix of power and speed, and the sky is the limit moving forward for the former No. 3 overall pick as he continues to acclimate to the MLB level.

Clark went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 11-7 win over the Rockies.
A day after launching a home run against Colorado, Clark kept rolling with his third three-hit performance of the month. In September, the dynamic rookie is slashing .382/.500/.588 with a home run, three stolen bases, five RBI and eight runs scored across 10 games. Clark is trending up as he wraps up his first MLB campaign, and he figures to carry plenty of momentum into 2027.

Clark went 1-for-2 with a walk, a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 6-2 win over the Rockies. He also stole a base.
Clark showed off his combination of power and speed by launching his third home run of the season and recording his fourth stolen base. It was the first time in his MLB career that the rookie has gone deep and swiped a base in the same game. Clark did plenty of both in the minors, so he should have many more performances like Friday as he settles in at the top level.
