  • The Rockies reinstated Criswell (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Wednesday and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque.

Colorado placed Criswell on the IL shortly after he sustained a right shoulder strain following his first appearance coming out of the All-Star break, but he made a relatively quick recovery. He tossed a scoreless inning in his lone rehab appearance with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday and will wind up sticking around with the affiliate, as the Rockies didn't have room for him in the big-league bullpen.

  • Criswell (shoulder) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, pitching around a hit and a walk to log a scoreless frame.

Criswell landed on the 15-day injured list nearly a month ago with a right shoulder strain. He could require another rehab outing or two before rejoining the Rockies' bullpen.

  • The Rockies placed Criswell on the 15-day injured list Saturday with a right shoulder strain.

Criswell gave up two earned runs in two innings Friday in what was his first appearance since returning to the majors last Saturday, but the Rockies will now be without his services until at least Aug. 2. His roster spot will be filled by Tomoyuki Sugano (back), who was reinstated from the injured list to start Saturday's game against the Reds.

  • The Rockies recalled Criswell from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.

Criswell has put up a 6.87 ERA and 1.82 WHIP in 18.1 innings with the Isotopes, but he's fired two shutout innings with the big club this year. He'll fill the void in Colorado's bullpen left by TJ Shook and figures to work in middle relief.

  • The Rockies optioned Criswell to Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.

Criswell turned in scoreless frames in both of his appearances after being recalled from Triple-A on Tuesday, but he'll be sent back down so the Rockies can get a fresh bullpen arm in the form of Eiberson Castellano. Criswell hasn't performed nearly as well at Albuquerque this season (nine earned runs in 10.2 IP), but his performance with the Rockies could keep him in consideration for a return to Colorado later in the year.

  • The Rockies recalled Criswell from Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday.

Criswell missed all of the 2025 season recovering from Tommy John surgery and has authored a 7.59 ERA in 10.2 innings with Albuquerque this season, though he has struck out 15. If the 27-year-old gets into a game, it will be his first appearance in the majors since 2024.
